New from Reliance Gear is a modular tubular rack actuator for light duty
medical or scientific applications that can be modified to suit customer
requirements. Suitable for z-axis movements, the tubular rack provides a
convenient 'duct' for cables, minimising the risk of entanglement. On a
20mm stroke length, the actuator can cycle at 0.15s, axially repeating
within 0.025mm. The tip can be positioned in the x-y plane within
+/-0.2mm when fully extended at 200mm, and even more precisely for
shorter distances.
