With the new series of compact IndraDrive Cs drives, Rexroth is expanding the lower power range of the IndraDrive drive system. In addition to its space-saving design and impressive performance data, Rexroth’s IndraDrive Cs is equipped with Ethernet-based communication interfaces and takes account of the increased requirements for openness and consistency with newly developed communication hardware with multiple protocol compatibility.
Communications options include SERCOS III, Profinet IO (RT), Ethernet/IP and EtherCAT, with Profibus-DP offered as an option. They are connected via universal communication hardware all of which is easily configured using Rexroth’s IndraWorks software. Transducer interfaces are provided for all relevant encoder types.
Future versions of the IndraDrive Cs will offer optional use of Motion Logic in accordance with IEC 61131-3.
