'Quick-strip' centrifugal pumps meet hygiene requirements
A range of centrifugal pumps with capacities from 1-500m3/h and heads of up to 100m is now available from Pump Engineering. The new CSF-CS and CSA pumps are designed for hygienic applications in the food, beverage and pharmaceuticals industries, where their 'quick-strip' clamping feature makes for easy dismantling and cleaning. All wetted parts are constructed from 316L stainless steel, and all surfaces in contact with the pumped media are electroplished to standards that are acceptable for food processing and pharmaceutical manufacture. CSF-CS and CSA pumps can be supplied with an internal or external single mechanical seal or flushed double mechanical seal for high temperature media or those with a tendency to crystallise.
