igus has extended its dimensional series E igubal rod end bearings range with the introduction of the EBRM-16 V. By inserting a steel reinforcement into its igubal rod end bearing, igus has increased the tensile load capability by up to 50% compared with pure plastic versions. igus says it is closing the gap between steel and plastic parts in terms of load capacity. These rod end bearings are able to handle tensile loads up to 15kN, and offer additional benefits of corrosion resistance and zero maintenance.
