The latest version of Ansys' simulation and analysis software, Ansys 6.0
combines robust design simulation and virtual prototyping functionality
to help product developers improve their time-to-market performance.
Allowing all structural, thermal, electromagnetic and fluid flow tests to
be conducted within the virtual environment, the software enables
designers to determine the 'real-world' behaviour of their product ideas
before they proceed to the physical prototyping stage. Ansys 6.0 also
features an array of non-linear elements to analyse stresses,
temperatures, displacements and contact pressure distributions in complex
assemblies.
