Linear Guide System Is Quick To Assemble

Power Jacks has introduced a range of ram actuators that make suitable replacements for hydraulic cylinders. The new BFA units comprise electric motor, gearbox and ball screw, configured with a double clevis end and parallel motor arrangement that will fit into most hydraulic cylinder type spaces. Three standard sizes offer forces of 25kN, 75kN and 125kN and speeds of 1,600mm/min (full rated load) or 5,500mm/min(reduced load). The dynamic ball screw drive has two screw leads as standard, with integral safety device in the ball nut. This arrangement provides early warning of ball screw failure and allows the actuator to sustain a load in the event of catastrophic ball failure. The gearbox accepts any IEC motor as standard, including energy efficient and brake motors, or inverter rated and combined motor/inverter units for speed control.
