Ball screw jack has integral safety device as standard
Power Jacks has developed a range of metric ball screw jacks with an
integral safety device to guard against the effects of ball failure or
excessive wear in the screw. A standard feature on these actuators, the
safety device enables the ball nut to sustain a load in the event of
catastrophic ball failure, as well as contacting the screw shaft to act
as the 'Acme' thread in the event of excessive wear in the ball screw
drive.
