Pittman's new E22B reflective optical sensing (ROSE) encoder measures
just 22mm in diameter and offers a snug fit with the company's Lo-Cog
6000 series brushed dc motors, in 6, 12 and 24V versions. The encoder
provides, as standard, 128 and 256 counts per revolution with two channel
quadrature, TTL-compatible output. The unit also offers incremental,
non-contact rotary-to-digital feedback of real time shaft angle, speed
and direction of rotation for closed loop servo applications.
