Invertek Drives' operations director, Charles Haspel pays tribute to
Phoenix Contact's through-panel connectors, which his company is using to
provide reliable and convenient connections for external wiring in a
range of enclosed ac inverter products. The performance of our drives is
world class, he claims, and we naturally want their appearance to match
their performance. These terminals are the only ones of their type on the
market and they have helped us to achieve this.
But that's far from being the only benefit Invertek gets from these
terminals. Their easy-fit, push-together, two-part design keeps assembly
time to a minimum, and their quality ensures a high level of reliability.
These Phoenix Contact through-panel terminals have convenient screw-clamp
connections for external wiring, but for connecting wiring within the
panel, there are a number of options in addition to screw clamps,
including solder tags, push-on tabs, Wire-Wrap pins and Termipoint spills.
Dual-entry terminals, which accommodate two external connections in
separate clamps, are also available, together with earth terminals and
fused terminals. All types feature compact construction for maximum
connection density, and are supplied as single-pole units that can be
mounted side-by-side to provide any number of connections.
