Power connector with 'PushPull' locking for device connectivity

Han 'PushPull' Power from Harting is a new, extremely compact 5-pole power connector with voltage and current ratings up to 690V and 16A. The connector is part of a family of rugged connectors for transmitting optical and electrical communications, along with signals and power, with IP65/IP67 protection. The connectors are available in metal or plastic housings, and assembly is carried out by proven crimp technology or the innovative Han-Quick Lock rapid termination technology.

Panel feedthroughs are available to bring the power efficiently into the switch cabinet or directly to the power or control device. Straight or angled male inserts can be used to conduct the power to a PCB for device integration. Coding pins for use in components on both the device and cable sides are used to reliably differentiate interfaces with different voltage levels.

This approach to industrial device connectivity is ideally suited to areas such as process control and machine building, where the compact nature of the connection devices allows optimal configuration.
