Murrelektronik Impact67 fieldbus module removes the confusing clusters of input and output connectors from control cabinets, providing basic functionality with pluggable connectors, diagnostic options and IP67 tested seals.
Previously, impact67 was only available to users of Profibus technology but this has now been extended to include EtherCat, CanOpen, DeviceNet, and EtherNet/IP. So now even more fieldbus users can benefit from the advantages provided by this cost-effective, basic functionality.
To enable quick troubleshooting, and thus reduced down-time, Impact67 features port-related monitoring functions. Peripheral faults such as short-circuits or overloads are clearly displayed by a red LED at the port which will then be shut off.
