Slimline cabinet air conditioners simply 'drop in'
Pfannenberg has introduced four sizes of narrow-profile, door- or
side-mounting cabinet air conditioning modules (1,000-2,500W), that can
be installed in a standard 1,050 by 450mm cut-out in a matter of minutes.
No fixings are required, the unit is simply located at the bottom of the
aperture, the top pushed forward and finally clamped into place by spring
clips. An external cover is similarly clipped into place.
The internal air circuit is as long as possible to maximise the
temperature reduction in the air being cycled through the cabinet. The
unit's electronics are also located in the cooling circuit in order to
benefit from the lower ambient temperature. The coolers are designed to
maintain a temperature of 35°C within a cabinet in ambient conditions of
55°C.
