Parvalux has introduced two new gearboxes for its range of small electric
motors. The MWS integral right-angle worm and multi-spur reduction unit
is suitable for applications requiring low noise performance. Speeds
range from 1 to 64rpm and torque to 45Nm continuous. For higher speeds up
to 554rpm, the MIS medium in-line multi-spur box offers a lower gear
ratio from its pinion and spur assembly, compared with the worm and wheel
on the MWS. Maximum torque is again 45NM. Both gearboxes can be fitted to
any Parvalux permanent magnet ac or dc series/shunt wound motors.
