A Custom-Build Service For Small Geared Motor Users

Every motor application is different and rarely can an off-the-shelf motor satisfy all the requirements of a particular application for power, torque, voltage and speed, let alone mounting arrangement. And when a gearbox, brake or clutch is needed, the number of possible combinations can be counted in millions. For some manufacturers, this huge range of variations means special orders and long lead times, but for Parvalux, who has risen to this challenge for the past 50 years, a custom-built motor can be made ready overnight, if needed. If you have a special motor requirement, and your needs are modest in terms of numbers - maybe you need just one unit - the Bournemouth based company is willing and equipped to build your prototype. The Parvalux range comprises 166 basic motor frames rated from 3.7 to 600W, with speed options from 18,000rpm to just one revolution per day. Gearboxes include single and double reduction worm and wheel, worm and spur and multi-spur, while right-angle gearboxes provide a speed range of 0.5 to 970rpm and torque up to 250Nm. Among the company's latest products is a range of maintenance-free 24V brushless geared motors up to 200W with electronic speed control in the range 25:1. These can be combined with gearboxes to offer a wide range of speeds and output torque. The gearboxes are sealed and lubricated for life and can be customised to incorporate special shafts with threads, grooves, keyways or any other feature specified by the customer.
