Hydraulic Cylinders Offer Strokes To 4M At 250Bar Working Pressure

Parker Hannifin has added the MW Series to its medium duty, round-line hydraulic cylinder range, which are suitable for mobile and static duties at working pressures of up to 160bar (MWB) and 250bar (MWA). The units come in a limited choice of mounting styles with bore sizes 32 to 200mm, piston rod diameters of 14 to 125mm and standard strokes to 4,000mm. MW cylinders have a welded construction at the cap end, and a threaded rod bearing at the head housing the gland seals. Fitting spherical bearings to the rod and cap ends, enables the cylinders to be used in machines where the member travels in a curved path, tolerating a degree of misalignment outside the plane of motion. There is a range of seal options to suit different fluids and applications, BSPP or metric ports and custom rod end threads and lengths. linear transducers and position switches are available for electro-hydraulic applications.
