Two product ranges launched by Parker Pneumatic have been designed for
installation in confined spaces in low-cost factory automation
applications. The P5T series short stroke thrust slides are for
heavy-duty short stroke applications in factory automation processes
where mounting envelopes are limited and substantial side-loading is
present. Options available include Hall effect and reed switches, rear
porting, dowel pin holes, flow controls, corrosion resistant shafting and
fluorocarbon seals. The P5G-A Series range of parallel grippers provides
precise and reliable parallel gripping motion and is the first stage in
the development of a comprehensive range of low-cost gripping devices.
Double-acting, single-acting and spring assisted options are available,
each in four bore sizes from 16 mm to 40 mm.
