Parker Pneumatic has extended its range of food industry pneumatic
components with the new compact P1M short build cylinder. Factory
lubricated with food grade grease, and with smooth, corrosion resistant
washdown features, the P1M has flexible porting and integral sensor
grooves. ten sizes are available, with bores ranging from 12 to 100mm and
strokes from 5 to 500mm. The basic version has a stainless steel piston
rod, magnetic piston and fixed cushioning. Parker reckons that the new
products achieves typical space savings of between 20 and 30% over
standard ported cylinders.
