Pneumatic Binary Counter Valve For Conveyor Control

Parker Sempress Pneumatic has introduced a compact binary counter valve with integrated sequence operation that is suitable for the control of slides, flaps, doors and locks on conveyor systems. It is available in two versions: for pneumatic or electronic actuation. The 5/2 way main valve has a flow capacity of 460 litre/min and operates at air pressures from 4 to 10bar, enabling it to operate pneumatic actuators with bores of 80mm. The binary counter valve is pulse operated, each signal alternately energising and exhausting the outlet ports. Operation is based on an integrated sequence, with no mechanical binary counter parts. The unit is thus friction-free and good for up to ten million cycles.
