The new WetLine M18 photoelectric sensors from ifm electronic are suitable for harsh applications in wet areas and are protected to IP69K. The units feature 316L stainless bodies and lenses made from PMMA and each is connected via a PVC cable of 6m in length. Sensing ranges are 20m through-beam and 4m retro-reflective. There are three different fixed-range background-suppressed sensors with 100mm, 200mm amd 300mm sensing distance. Each WetLine device has a fixed function, light or dark switching variants being provided. All operate on 10 to 36Vdc, switching 200mA PNP.
