PVL has expanded its Clima range of flow monitoring instrumentation with the introduction of ClimaOil, a flow meter and data logger for monitoring hydraulic oil systems. The system provides accurate calculations of oil flows from 6 to 600 litre/min plus measurement of pressure, temperature and volume, all from the one unit. The package contains a turbine flow meter in three versions covering the ranges 6-60, 15-300 and 60-600 litre/min. The turbine also includes a 0-600bar pressure transducer and a 0-120oC temperature sensor, and comes built into a section of pipe offering 0.5, 1 or 1.5in BSP connections. The PTQ Check display unit measures and displays oil velocity, temperature and pressure, and then calculates and displays the oil flow rate.
