The latest V series ac motor/gearbox range from Oriental Motor offers a peak torque of 40Nm for up to 10,000 hours at a noise level of just 29dBA. The motors feature rigid housings, large diameter bearings and an optimised gear design that ensures long life and a torque output that is claimed to be up to three times the level of more traditional types of gearhead.
