Fans Send An Alarm In Event Of Malfunction

The new Orix fans from Oriental Motor can be set up to provide an alarm signal in the event that the fan speed falls below a certain level or stops altogether. These axial flow units are available in a number of frame sizes, providing air flows from 0.18 to 2.7m3/min (fan stopped alarm version) and 2.7 to 24m3/min (fan slowed alarm version). These fans are suitable for cooling devices enclosed in cabinets, which heat up quickly. The alarm output can be used to trigger local audible or visible indication of a problem, or it can be fed to a plant or building monitoring system for remote alarm indication.
