The smarter alternative to stepper motor drives
Omron's Smartstep range of servomotors and drives allows two operating
modes to be selected: 'easy' and 'advanced'. In the easy mode, simple
parameter settings are made via DIP switches, while the motor response is
determined by up to four gain switch positions. The advanced mode is
accessed via PC or handheld configurator, and offers a full range of
motion and position control functions.
Smartstep drivers are available with ratings from 30W to 750W,
corresponding to torque ratings of 0.095Nm and 2.39NM respectively.
