Plug-in relays from Omron offer versatility and long life
The latest MY and G2R ranges of plug-in relays from Omron Electronics
offer a versatile and inexpensive method of interfacing electronic
equipment with power circuitry. These long-life units can also be
supplied with optional integral LED indicators, test buttons, coil
suppressors and bifurcated contacts for low signal switching. Both ranges
are capable of switching resistive loads of 10A and 5A (MY two- and
four-pole; G2R single- and double-pole relays respectively).
Complementing these new relays is an extensive range of relay bases,
including screw terminal types for DIN rail and surface mounting, and
versions for direct mounting on PCBs. The base range has been extended to
include types with screwless clamp terminals, where wiring time and/or
vibration problems are issues for the installer.
