Suitable for bonding transparent substrates or fixing overlay films and
touch screens to computer monitors and cash tills, 3M's optically clear,
pressure sensitive adhesive is supplied with two polyester liners for
optimal adhesive smoothness and release characteristics.
The material is applied to one surface using a nip roll laminator. Two
thicknesses are available.
The 25 micron adhesive (3M 8141) is applicable to smooth, transparent
surfaces or where packaging constraints restrict adhesive thickness,
while the 50 micron adhesive (3M 8142) is available for graphic overlays
and textured surfaces requiring higher bond strength.
