Omron's new D7E-3 tilt sensor has an operating angle of between 50 and 80
degrees, which avoids false triggering due to knocks and low level
vibration. The unit is self-resetting, with a return angle of 25 degrees,
allowing the system to be repositioned and restarted without further
intervention. Measuring 9.0x9.3x14.3mm, it takes up little space.
However, for very restricted space applications, Omron can supply its D6B
SMD tilt sensor, which measures just 5.5x5.5x3.75mm.
