Omron has introduced a gas flow sensor, based on proprietary MEMS
technology, that is capable of measuring gas flow speeds of just 0.5cm/s
or less to an accuracy of +/-3% of full scale. The D6F provides an
economic method of monitoring critical gas flows in anaesthesia or
combustion monitoring systems, and will measure flows of up to 10m/s from
any direction.
