Ranges start at 400mm for the direct-detection diffuse type, increasing to 2,500mm for the retro-reflective, Meanwhile, the through-beam type with a housing measuring barely 44mm long (that’s with the plug) has a range of 8,000mm. The M18 housing offers IP67 (or IP65 with adjustment potentiometer )protection rating.
