Omron is running a TECHNOLOGY EVENT focusing on the latest industrial network technologies and products, including an introduction to PROFINET and Ethernet-based industrial I/O networking. The company will explain why networking is playing such an important role in today's automation systems and how this can be used within a wider application for effective data collection, analysis and remote diagnostics. Guest speaker, Geoff Hodgkinson (pictured) is the founder of "Industrial Ethernet Book" magazine, consultant to the PROFIBUS International Group and a freelance journalist with over 25 years experience of Industrial Networks. Geoff will present a brief history of 'open' networking and explain his vision for the future of networking, including the importance of wireless technologies.
The event will be held at The Concorde Suite, Imperial War Museum Duxford, Cambridgeshire, CB22 4QR, from 10.00am until 2.30pm. All delegates will also enjoy free entry into the museum.
