Powersolve has introduced a series of high-performance dc/dc converters that provide up to 6W of output power in a compact DIP-24 surface mount package measuring only 33 x 21 x 10.5 mm. Produced by TracoPower, the TES-5 combines small size and high performance which makes these converters ideal for distributed power applications.
The TES-5 series consists of 21 models offering 9 to 18, 18 to 36 and 36 to 75 Vdc input ranges with 6W of output power in single and dual output configurations ranging from 3.3 to 15Vdc.
These dc/dc converters feature 1500VDC isolation, 85% Efficiencies and a full load operating temperature range of –40 to +70°C. Other features of the TES-5 series include an input filter for EN/UL 55022 class A emissions, over voltage protection, short circuit protection and under-voltage lockout.
The converters are qualified for lead-free solder processes according IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020C Standard, are RoHS compliant and are approved to UL/cUL60950-1 and IEC/EN 60950-1 safety standards.
