Burkert launches updated multi-parameter controller for effective water treatment

The microprocessor-based mxCONTROL system provides for general process and chemistry control in applications such as cooling towers, boilers and reverse osmosis plants. Most recently a new and highly versatile PC programming tool allows for a significant improvement in system flexibility and inventory costs.

About the latest mxControl
Since it first introduced last year, the mxControl has been even further enhanced by flexible programming capabilities; meaning that integrators and end-users will benefit hugely from fast program modifications during commissioning, future upgrades and maintenance needs. Based on a newly developed PC tool, flexible programming makes each system even more standard. This hardware standardisation allows for only 4 part numbers to cover a vast range of chemical and process control applications. This significantly reduces project implementation time thus minimizing downtime, training and inventory costs. The mxControl is highly adaptable, with its multi-parameter functionality and can be configured to monitor, display, transmit and record flow, pressure, pH/ORP, conductivity, O2, CL2, level, and temperature. RS485 communications link the controller directly to field devices, including on/off or proportioning valves, sensors and dosing pumps; and remote site monitoring is also possible through optional modem, Ethernet or GSM modules.
