National Instruments' widely used graphical data acquisition and analysis
software, LabVIEW, has new tools for the measurement and analysis of
sound and vibration. Using Sound & Vibration Toolset, users can perform
such functions as averaged frequency analysis or sound level measurement.
Users can also apply fractional-octave analysis (including third-octave)
and A, B or C weighting filters. The toolset enables results to be
presented in a number of graphical formats, from simple spectrum and bar
graphs to more advanced colour maps and waterfall graphs.
