Turn Your Pda Into A Portable Measuring Tool

National Instruments' new CompactFlash data acquisition device, the NI CF-6004, plugs into any PDA with a CompactFlash slot to create a handheld instrument providing up to 200k samples/s single-channel sampling on four analogue input channels. Users can also make use of the LabVIEW graphical programming environment for Pocket PC to define their own instruments and subsequently acquire, analyse and view data on their PDAs. Using a single PDA with LabVIEW and the new CompactFlash card avoids the need for several traditional handheld measuring instruments, reducing costs and simplifying data acquisition tasks.
