Real Time Performance For Can Implementers .

'Real time' performance for CAN implementers With National Instruments' new NI-CAN 1.5 driver software, system developers can use LabVIEW Real-Time to build applications that analyse, simulate and control CAN fieldbus devices. The software enables CAN, data acquisition and motion measurements to be synchronised across a real time platform, and, as it is designed to work with LabVIEW Real-Time, users get all those 'real time' benefits such as deterministic closed loop performance without having to learn the complexities of a real time operating system. Embedded applications are built in LabVIEW and downloaded to LabVIEW Real-Time without modification, so the user's applications runs more reliably without them having to rewrite existing code. Applications include automotive testing and diagnostics factory automation and machine control.
