Now available from Motor Technology is the Lenord+Bauer MotionPLC, which
provides motion control and PLC functions from a single unit with
integral LCD display panel and keypad. The controller's standard CoDeSys
IEC 61131-3 programming environment enables programming in any one of six
different languages, and languages can be mixed for different functions
(eg ladder for PLC and structured text for motion functions). AnyBus
modules allow connection via most popular fieldbuses, and the controller
supports a range of drives, including ac, dc, servo, stepper, hydraulic
and pneumatic.
