The package has been designed to help companies establish how much energy they can save using the latest range of inverter drives from Omron, the V1000 and E7. Across the industrial sector, electric motors account for over 60% of total electricity usage. This, with the continual increase in energy bills is proving an incentive to manufacturers, encouraging them to investigate and implement technologies and strategies that will deliver a reduction in energy costs and help to minimise their carbon footprint.
One way to achieve these goals is to fit inverter drives to fan and pump applications. V1000 inverter range

Suitable for heavy and normal duty applications, they come in a compact design with screw-less control terminal connections and a built-in operator display panel.
E7 inverter range
The E7 inverter drives offer a wide power range, up to 90kW. The drive’s functionality is suitable for fan and pump applications such as speed search and PID control.
Omron’s PC based estimator package, €SAVER, allows engineers to evaluate potential energy savings. This software tool estimates the energy saving when installing an inverter drive on to a pump, fan or compressor. It has been designed to help machine builders and users understand the potential savings available from their applications and will calculate the return on the investment period.
