Monitran has introduced two vibration sensors, designated 1830 and 1135,
for designers in the automotive and motor sport sectors. The stainless
steel housed units weigh just 30g (1135) and 47g (1830) and are sealed to
IP67. Frequency response is 0.8-12kHz (1830) and 0.5-13kHz (1135). The
sensors also differ in their mounting arrangement, the 1830 having a
single M6 or M8 bolt, and the smaller 1135 a quick-fit M6 threaded stud.
