Monitran's latest IS family of intrinsically safe accelerometers is
suitable for use in Group I and Group II hazardous areas. Each product
has ATEX and EEx approval, is constructed entirely from stainless steel
and is sealed to IP67. One model offers a 4-20mA output for real time
machine condition monitoring applications, while the remaining products
in the family are connected via appropriate barrier systems.
All products feature Monitran's proven sensor technology and are
guaranteed to provide a long and stable operating life, without need for
recalibration or maintenance. There is a choice of mounting, connection
and cable options, the last, for example, including high temperature
resistant stainless steel over-braid PTFE.
