GV Fans set new standard for airflow

Exclusively available in the UK from EAO, the new GV Series dc fans from Sanyo Denki provide double the cooling power from half the frame size. It is claimed that the 80GV (80 x 38mm deep) offers the largest airflow in the industry from a fan of this size: 138 CFM (3.9 m³/min) at a static pressure of 490 Pa.

It accomplishes such high performance from an improved impellor design and ‘guided vanes’ (GV) in the front moulding, which enables it to produce up to 25% more airflow than conventional models. They are more energy efficient too, consuming up to 16% less power. In high-impedance systems, GV fans provide the best airflow vs static pressure curve in the industry.

Several industry-standard frames sizes are available: 38, 40, 60, 90, 120, and 172mm. They are fitted with pulse sensors and PWM speed-control function as standard. As with all Sanyo Denki fans, these are high-reliability, dual ball-bearing products and are guaranteed for a minimum 40,000 hours (tested at 60ºC with a survival rate of 90%).
