Mitutoyo has introduced an ,
electro-discharge machines and other machine tools. The KL counter and
AT115 linear scale offer a useful feature that enables any number of
holes between two and 360 to be programmed with full angular offset
automatically positioning the work-piece. Functions include zero-setting,
presetting, metric conversion and the company’s own ABS Absolute feature.
The linear scale is available in 20 different versions with ranges from
100mm to 1,500mm and scale reference points at 50mm pitch. Datum points
for machining are easily determined, even after power has been removed,
by using the reference point.
