Mitsubishi Electric has extended the power capacity of its MR-J2 Super
Servo amplifiers and motors range to 22kW (for both 200V and 400V
variants). Three versions are offered: the Super MR-J2S-A for single-axis
applications, MR-J2S-B networked amplifier for multiple axis
synchronisation and the totally programmable MR-J2S-CL. The new Super
series programme includes a new range of 400V motors fitted as standard
with absolute encoders. In common with Mitsubishi's standard MR-J2 range,
the new products feature real time adaptive auto-tuning, which
dynamically adjusts the control parameters to match the load conditions.
