Internet-Ready Hmis .

Internet-ready HMIs Mitsubishi's E-range human-machine interfaces (HMIs) allow you to send emails and SMS text messages of events such as alarms or production reports over an intranet or the Internet. Able to be controlled remotely by a PC, E-range products contain a Java object and standard Internet browser, allowing an emulation of the HMI to be displayed on the PC screen wherever it happens to be in the world. Any local adjustment will be updated at the PC, a feature that is particularly useful when undertaking remote diagnostics. Intranets provided a high level of security and response time, compared with the Internet, but for those with security high on their list of priorities, all the features of the internet can be used via telephone lines or password protected modems on the PSTN for a more secure environment.
