Linear Tables Can Be Tailored To Your Needs

New space-saver compound tables from Micromech consist of two linear guides from the Isel LF5 series, connected via two ground steel plates. The motors are neatly sandwiched inside the table keeping the overall length to a minimum and simplifying connection. In the basic version, the linear guides have a travel range of 420mm in both the X and Y axes using a 5mm pitch, servo or stepper motor driven ball screw. It is also possible to combine other linear guides from the range using ground connecting plates, to create combinations of different travel ranges, pitches and drive motors within the compound table. Ball screw pitches of 2.5, 4, 10 and 20mm are available, and travel ranges can be from 290mm to 2.9m. If required, specials of any stroke length or top plate configuration can be provided.

*Micromech has introduced a low-profile miniature positioner offering position repeatability of +/-0.4um and encoder resolution down to 10nm. The MX80L linear motor driven stage offers travels of up to 150mm, speeds of 2m/s and accelerations to 5g, while the MX80S screw driven version offers a thrust of 123N and speeds to 200mm/s.
