Micromech has introduced a version of its 400XR series linear positioning tables for factory automation applications that do not require ultra-high positioning accuracy on every axis. The 404XE table features the same rugged construction, but at significantly reduced cost - around 20-35% less than the 404XR. Bi-directional positioning accuracy is +/-20 to +/-30 micron, depending on travel length.
