Micromech's 401XR and 402XR series miniature precision linear positioning tables have widths of 40mm and 58mm respectively, and offer repeatable positioning to +/-12 micron as standard. The 401XR comes with a choice of five different travel lengths from 50mm to 300mm, and can carry loads up to 50kg. The 402XR has six travel lengths between 100mm and 600mm and a load carrying capacity of 100kg. Ball screw drive pitches of 2, 5 or 10mm provide a choice of resolution/velocity ratios, while positioning speeds
of up to 700mm/s are possible. For maximum positioning accuracy, the tables can be supplied with linear encoders; three versions offer resolutions of 0.1, 0.5 and 1 micron.
