Now available in the UK from Micromech, the Isel ball screw driven LF series linear actuator comes in three sizes, two of which have a twin-bearing rail/carriages. The units make use of standard brackets for mounting in every conceivable X-Y or X-Y-Z configuration. Driving options include belt or direct drive, via a stepper motor or servomotor, and stroke lengths of up to 2,930mm are possible.
