Linear motor becomes part of the machine structure
With SKA linear motors from the Motor Power Company, users can gain improvements in the dynamics of their machines, optimising speed, acceleration and positioning accuracy, whilst reducing gaps, floats,
friction, delays and other power train losses. Available in the UK from Micromech, these motors can be built into the structure of a machine to achieve efficient and responsive motion.
The SKA is an iron-core synchronous motor producing a nominal force of up to 1,100N and acceleration to 7g. The unit has Class F mobile coil insulation and is supplied with integral sin-cos encoder.
