The Rapid Fix machine guarding system from Troax is now available in the UK from Micromech Robotics. Targeted at robot installations and applications involving high capacity machinery, Rapid Fix is quick to assemble - often needing just one person to erect it - and complies with all relevant standards, including EN953 and EN292. Once erected, one or more panels can be dismounted for maintenance access by means of the reinforced polymer mounting system. A special tool is required for this in order to prevent unauthorised tampering. There is a choice of infill panels, including mesh, full steel, sound absorbing and transparent, as well as a choice of doors and locks, allowing a wide range of configurations to meet specific end-user requirements.
