Michell Instruments has introduced Optidew Vision, a high-performance
optical dew-point hygrometer based on its Optidew transmitter technology.
Housed in a portable case with integral liquid crystal display, that is
also suitable for panel mounting, the new instrument senses moisture
levels in air and gases using the fundamental cooled mirror principle.
The sensor is mounted in a probe that connects to the Optidew Vision unit
via a cable of up to 30m in length. Uses include the calibration of
relative humidity sensors or environmental test chambers, and
high-accuracy humidity measurements in process environments.
