Gear Pump Has Scoop Bracket Option

Gear pump has 'scoop bracket' option The Liquiflo range of conventionally sealed gear pumps can now be supplied with a close-coupled mounting bracket, which brings a number of benefits. This new scoop bracket option is easier to install as well as taking up less space and costing less than a long-coupled version. Available from Michael Smith Engineers, the units provide smooth, pulse-less flow of thin and viscous liquids and are suitable for small volume/high pressure transfer or pulse-less metering applications. Th scoop bracket is an option on six of the Liquiflo series pumps, covering capacities from 1 litre/min to 40 litre/min at differential pressures up to 7bar. The scoop bracket fits directly to the motor flange and the pump is mounted on this bracket and then coupled to the motor via a flexible coupling.
